About the Project
Objective
Collecting overseas records on Korea to procure primary research materials for studies on modern and contemporary history of Korea and to support for Korean Studies research.
Main Activities
Collect and organize records on Korea held by the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)
- Collect records on Korea held by NARA by digitizing them
- Classify collected records and build catalogs, databases
Provide services for users
- Provide users with a guideline on how to use records and reference services
- Introduce new arrivals and provide annotated work on the NLK's website and blog
- Share information and cooperate with relevant institutions in Korea
